My home SPS reef [175G/800l]

Thank you all.
I't been a busy week so only 6 and not the best pics today - I'm too tired to make better ones this time.

This week is mostly about blue color - very hard imo to take good photo in a reef tank.

regards
Pawel

Tank and corals look terrific. Your photo's are very good. I wish all photo's were this true to life so we can make real comparisons to our own corals. Thank you for taking the time to post your tank.

It's been a while since the last video - so here it is - I've made it yesterday evening.
Be sure to watch in HD :)

Hope you enjoy.

Pawel

Wonderful video! You have some beautiful corals

Thank you.

Beautiful Pawel! Any updates on your experiences with aquaforest?

Everything is looking just fine at the moment. I've made a small adjustments to a dosing (just for tests), increased some of the product dosing, reduced other etc. I'll never claim that a single products makes you tank look great because it's always a reefer who is responsible for the tank but these ones are just good enough to enable me to have a tank that i'm happy with. And the prices on them compared to what I was using before are just great :)

regards
Pawel

This says what I was thinking just perfectly. I have been having good results in my first weeks on AF products but am still being cautious.

Awesome video. I really like the yellow loripes (?) type coral. You have really great polyp extension on the corals. My acros have some during the day But only get really fuzzy at night. Do you dose any of the coral amino, vitamin, or food products during day to get this extension? Or do you only dose at night as per aquaforest manual.

Pawel, stunning tank as usual. The pe is amazing and the over all health is exceptional.
I am curious about how much coral E you use..
I know I may get laughed at for saying this but I find that while most of your corals look absolutely stunning, some seem pale or overly pastel to me... If you go back to the beginning or your thread and look at your tank before you started using Aquaforest, your colours are much more saturated. I know different corals do better with one method and other corals do better, or I should show better color, with another system.
I also acknowledge that these days, coral coloration is a matter or personal choice..
Like I said, I think your tank absolutely stunning in general.
I am wondering if you experiment with coral e for making the corals more or less pastel looking or if you stick to the Aquaforest recommended regimen?

Finally took time to watch your video...... really gorgeous corals, and a great variety of colors and species. I seem to struggle with the variety part, just seem to get hung up favorites. Well done Pawel.

Could you pinpoint the exact time of the video of this coral?
I dose everything at night ( around 1 hour after lights go off) - I usually don't have time in the morning so it's just easier for me to do all the dosing at once. No sure what the manual says about it.

I've been doing some experiments lately:
extended full light from 8 to 10 hours a day
lowered the fixtures to 10cm (~4 inch?) above water level
coral e overdosing

this is probably causing some corals to get lighter - I'm just trying different things to please my eye and my corals :)

Great video, stunning visuals :)

I was talking about the coral at about1:46. Awesome piece. I dose at lights out 2. Just wondering if day time extension would be better if dosed in day.
Anyway great tank.
