No, you should use zeo dedicated filter which will allow you shaking the media in it. I belief that Paweł is using KZ zeo filter.

I was doing some research and apparently you can run zeomix in a standard fluidized reactor. That's what Debeo does.

Is it blown in certain spots from all those pumps or did you slow them down?

I've used 9 bags of KZ argonite sand.
To my surprise the particles (3-5mm) are so heavy that I did't have to slow my pumps, I only did a minor adjustments to the flow directions.
