I wanted to mount the American dj power center today so i did. I had my dad help me out with the jigsaw and stuff.

I still have to label each of the outlets. Does anyone know if a timer blocks the other outlet next to it? I need one for my ato and lights

i took on some dog sitting and yard work with my neighbors to get money to buy corals with. Ill update tomorrow.

thanks! And yes I thank him every time he helps me out. I've been doing quite a lot on my own. He's not into tanks at all so he does all the wood work while i plumb, think of more stuff to do, and buy all the equipment.

I had a blast at the frag swap! I met a couple awesome people and of course spent all my build money on corals gahhh now i need to save up for more equipment. My 15 gallon is STOCKED!! Ill post some pics of the corals tomorrow.

I tested the par30 bulb over my 15 gallon just to see what kind of color i would get and I am very disappointed. Call me crazy but i don't like how shimmery it is. My leds i have now over the 15 have perfect color, but its a retrofit and I don't want to have to make another one for a 36" tank. Im looking at a radion or ai vega but thats crazy expensive. I may go for a 6 bulb ati

i finally got around to mounting my 2 single reactors. it was a mess getting them to fit and not knocking the skimmer. grr sucha big stand but still no room LOL. Ill post a pic of the full stand when i clean it up.

a bit of an update. The rest of the equipment is paid for and on its way. Ill be in boston for the next 5 days so i wont be home to recieve it. Also my birthday is coming up *yayyy* we all know where the birthday money is going . I may fresh water test the system but im not sure i want too. I guess its worth it for the extra security before anything live goes in.

I did some nifty wiring and wired two computer fans up and put them on top of my stand. not bad for $5

my lights should be here either monday or tuesday. im going to let it run with water for a while before i get rock and sand because i don't have money for that yet. I will in like 2 weeks though
