My Latest Pics

excellent shots as usual!

Thanks noy.

Yes, another splendid job. Clear and sharp. I like the second clove polyp and the first fox particularly. If I were to nit pick, a couple feel a bit, perhaps subdued / dark overall, just a smidge?

Thank you, they could well be slightly more dark for you than me, depends on your screen I guess.

Beautifully done!

Thanks. :)

i need to get a flash

It's well worth investing.

Wow... amazing pics.

Thanks Bor.

Aaron,
For the clove and and hammer series was that under actinic and if so how did you get all the blue out? Whenever I tank any actinic photo I cant get it to show the florescence like that :(. Any tips would be extremely helpful. You can pm if its too much to explain.

Thanks

It was shot under the bluer end of my lighting schedule, about 16K according to the Mitras software. As with any image, it's done in raw and I played with the sliders until I got a true representation of what I was looking at under my lighting. Shooting under pure actinics is pretty tricky and I tend to shy away from it, if I'm honest. I've used a custom WB before with mixed results.

These pictures are seriously breath taking man. If I could take a picture that looked 1/4th that good I'd be happy
