My latest RR Purchases

Here are some of the frags I recently picked up from RR Canada. Some need to colour up a touch still. Colours are better in person as well though. I am still trying to work on my photography skills:

Pretty In Pink - Green base, blue tips and the polyps are actually hot pink.

RR Cannibus - Orange base with green polyps. It is a new release. All most like a Sunset Milli, except it's not a milli.

RR Red Bull Nice deep purple / red with red polyps.

RR Orange Planet - Nice bright orange base with red / orange polyps.

RR Avatar - Nice pale blue base with red polyps.

RR Purple Passion - It is like a deep greenish base with purple tips and deep purple polyps

RR Orange Passion and RR Original Peacock - Orange passion still needs more light to get those polyps nice and orange. Right now, they are more green / orange. I have it very high in my tank so the polyps will turn soon enough. Peacock is behind it. Light blue base, dark blue tips and reddish polyps.

RR Jaw Dropper - Still is colouring up. Goes from a green base to orange with nice blue polyps. Its small because I fragged a piece off all ready as a back up... You never know and with a high price tag, I don't like to take chances. I just moved it to higher light now and will keep showing how it progresses.

And to top it off, here is a pic of my RR Gold Buddah that I have been growing out for over a year now. Definitely one of the top 5 favs in the tank right now. Gold / yellow base with burgundy / purple polyps. I love it:

Thanks guys! I don't like discussing prices as it makes me feel like I am a coral junky. lol. The price tag was very steep. $350 CDN for a 1" frag. I have never paid near that much for a frag before but I decided to give it a try. I was hearing it is a good grower so I figured why not? It is growing and colouring up a lot now. It looks small because I fragged the top of it off right away as a back-up piece. I wanted to protect my investment... Both frags are growing well now.

You're a very lucky guy, those are very hard to get, well worth it. Wish you're nearby so we can see the actual colors in person.

Nice pieces. Love the idea of immediate fragging to reduce chances of loss. May have to use that in future expensive purchases.

Red Bull is my favorite coral in my tank. It doesn't stay like that and gets some green growth tips with with portions of it take a pink or lavender hue right below those growth tips.

That's too bad. I was considering a purchase based upon how it looks in the shot.

Thanks everyone. So far, the colour has been exceptional on all the pieces. Hopefully, I can keep them all up. I should be getting a few more RR pieces in the near future. One of them is a new release that has not hit the market yet.
