Check how much shipping is online. You also can't directly look, pick out and see in full 3D the fish you're getting. You're also not subjecting the fish to even further shipping stress. You don't have to wait home to sign for an overnight package.

However, I would definitely find another LFS. Any LFS that doesn't stand behind their livestock doesn't get my business. Also what type of firefish? I paid $25 for a purple one but I've seen them for much more.

I've literally never even heard of a LFS that gives a guarantee on saltwater fish. I've seen a few that offer 2 or 3 days on freshwater, though.
I've never seen them over $30 or $40 around here. I would assume a store that sells them for $74 doesn't have as cheap of a source. In my experience, store prices are slightly higher but still a good deal for reasons stated above, plus shipping is like $35 at least.
This isnt my image, but it looks exactly like the one i bought:

Also, the same LFS tried to sell me a heater for twice the online retail price. Yes, scammed was definitely the wrong word, but it makes it hard to support local businesses when their prices are SO much higher.
The same LFS also had a plastic thermometer for $10 when another local competitor was selling it for $5. Everything at this place is overpriced. Clown fish seem moderately priced, but blue leg hermits go for like $1+ over there.
