my mantis laid eggs

i know that the larval mantis don't relaly stand a chance in the tank, and i'm not able to start a food culture going. i don't even know the species of my mantis, shes about an inch and a half, red, a clubber, bluegreen clubs tiped with pink. i saw her carring the egg sac, then poped out of her tunnle without it, i didn't know they can just put it down

How long have you had her? The eggs may not be fertilized if she's been without loving for too long. Also it sounds like it might be N. Wennerae. Post some pics if you can.

Then those eggs might could be fertilized! I read in a thread that mantis shrimp have been known to store sperm for, if I'm not mistaken, 3 months.
