My melanurus found his reflection.

He WONT STOP ATTACKING THE GLASS. hes just charging and biting at the glass turning around, flaring and doing it again. it's an endless cycle. My foxface is now doing it too. they're just on one side of the tank fighting their reflections.

Is there any way I can help reduce the reflection given back towards them?

PS - I love my Melanurus as well.. So much - So much so that I am considering getting another Wrasse of some sort.. Praying they would get along

Evalyn has SUCH an amazing bond with my Golden Sleeper Goby - It's really intriguing to watch - They hunt together, they swim together, they even nestle into one another in what seems to be like a playful dance - They go to bed at the same time and arise at the same time.

My Melanurus and foxface are the same way now.

How do you get those pictures to avoid the atinic lighting. It's impossible for me to avoid the blue purpleish tint

IMHO I doubt that they can see their own reflection. I have a hunch that you have corraline growing and they are nibbling on it. -My Firefish does the same in spots where I did not clean the panel thoroughly.

Hmmm hate to bust anyone's bubble but fish can see their own reflection and getting it to stop is a pita. I have a wrasse and filefish that pace the ends all day and on occasion venture into the rest of the tank. It drives me batty and only way to sorta solve is reducing other light in room.

I just noticed what theyre doing. I thought "why is my skimmer making so many micro bubbles?" wrong IT IS LIKE A COPE EXPLOSION in my tank. It looks like its snowing in there, they're covering the glass. I set this new tank up only about 2 weeks ago with rock and water from my old tank so the cycle was extremely minimal and now the copes are blowing up.
