My Mertensii and Gig Anemones:)

We'll i said i would post pics back a few months ago and i forgot so here they are.
I found him a LFS and he was fairly small and bleached right out. But after a couple months with some good light and food he is now a light beige with orange tips and white strips through him.

Currently home to a True perc but will be replaced by a pair of snowflakes

First 2 are of when i got him and then today....Last pic is a little off as the wave box was going when i took it

I got lucky with him and stumbled upon him at lfs. I wouldn't have even looked twice as he was so bleached and honestly looked like a haddoni. But the current caught his disk and i saw the red spots. So honestly it was just luck

Here is my Gigantea. I had him for 10 days and he have not deflated yet. He ate every other days so far. The tentacles in the middle elongated to more than 1.25 inches while the tentacle at the edge are only about 1/2 inch long. Is this a sign that he is doing well? Sorry for the poor quality picture from my phone

Yes that is a great sign. Neither of mine have ever deflated from the day i got them. And the green one now that he has settled in i have easily had his inner tentacles 2.5 inches long.
Yours looks great now. They are hardy little buggers if you can get them past the point. I had there tank go down on Friday due to a heater breaking in the back and it electrocuted everyone and the nems when i found them were all balled up but yet they are good to go 2 hours later...and are still huge.Everything in that tank died except the nems and the clown.:eek2:

The diameter on the Gigs are for the green i would say 10 inches now and the purple about 6
The Mertensii when all spread out is about 6 as we'll.
The mertensii when i added the wave box really flourished. He totally loves that wave motion.
