My Monti

I've had this for 2-1/2 years; on its third tank. When I got it it was about 1" x 1". It's now the size of my hand.

It's current home has 120 w VHO LED shining on it. I've always placed this close to the light; seems to like it up there.

That's really poor growth for a monti cap IMO, If you'd like to share your water perameters maybe the forum can help you out getting it growing faster.

I'm going to disagree, it started off as a tiny frag it takes a while for things to get to "critical mass" before they start taking off. I'd say it's "fair" growth. from a tiny frag to a multilayer 8x8 piece.. not shaby

Not bad, but I agree it's growing slow. Regardless, it a nice piece. You are going to have to move it down though. It looks really bleached out and pale. Moving it lower to the first 1/3 to 1/2 up the tank will really make it pop. Just frag off a decent piece and move it around to see where it likes it best.
