i'm heading back there to pick up another one

I want to pick up another one and I don't even have a place to put it. :D These pumps are just sooo much better than power heads. I will never buy another power head.

6 weeks and mine is still a little noisy. I hardly notice it though.

I'm using the stock finnex pump and a mj-900 ph and its no where near what I think it should be.

That is exactly what I started with in my tank. Add two 6025s, heck even start with one. You will not believe the difference it makes compared to the mj900 in that tank. The flow of the current using the 6025 is widespread and preforms very different from the MJ900.

I am still having some minor noise issues and may send them to Roger one at a time to have him take a look at them.

The 9002 Skimmer is working well in my Finnex tank as well. And it is very easy to set.

I would order a 6025 if you are interested in increasing flow in your tank. Two in the 30G is unreal flow. However, using the 2 with the HQI fixture has kept the temp almost two degrees cooler than using just the one.

I feel your pain. :D I waited a couple of weeks till mine came in. I thought I would die. I got my 6025's from www.thereefstop.com Although the box return address label said Premium Aquatics, so I don't know if it was dropped shipped from them or what.

I don't know if he still has any in stock but I received one from Something Fishy here:

And the second I purchased from Marine Depot. They were out of stock when I ordered but received in two weeks.

I recently got a Tunze recirc pump from Tony at Reef Exotics. Seems like a nice fellow and ordered my pump that afternoon and it shipped same day. It looks like he has some arriving soon.

Premiumaquatics is always great to deal with as well.

Great little pumps. I wish I could help you with an in-stock source.

Bill,

I have not installed it as of yet. It arrived today and is about the same size as the stock pump. Upon opening the box you can feel the quality difference in the construction alone. I like the fact that it has an adjustible flow. I have to head to the hardware store to get some fittings to make the outlet work. Or, I may just replumb the whole thing.. not sure. I'll let you know how I make out.

It is the 1073.030 and here is the link to where I purchased it:

I'll let you know and post some info in the finnex 30G thread. The 9002 skimmer is working out well in that tank over the last week.

They are selling like mad

That dosn't surprise me at all.

I had a thought the other day. Multiple smaller streams in a hard coral dominated tank will give you a lot of control over water flow as your corals grow. Something like the 6025 would be great to add flow where it has been blocked by coral growth.

I ordered them from marinedepot last night and was told today, that they are expecting them on the 9th. Its a long wait...lol
