I made a little progress today. I got the canopy done.

Yeah, it really shows in the picture. I'm going to even it all out then put clear coat on tomorrow.

If you don't mind me asking. I was wondering where you got the tank and what it cost after adding the overflow and holes drilled. Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m looking to get a LeeMat 120 or the 180 with euro bracing, but still looking and pricing.

The tank is LeeMar. It came out to $889 before taxes.

It took only two weeks to build, but when I got it the bottom glass was cracked so I had to send it back.

I got "confirmation" today that it will be here Thursday May 4th.

Did you get it from a local store? I have called and only found 2 stores that sell them in Phoenix.

I ordered it through a LFS here in Sierra Vista.

Ok thanks for the info. Did they charge you for the euro bracing or did you decide not to get it.

It turns out the euro bracing would be an additional $400. I didn't get it. The tank has 2 glass braces, one on each side of the overflow.

Ok just wondering for price comparison. Did they let you pick where you wanted to drill the tank and the overflow box size. They said the 120 I looked at would all be the same.

Yeah, they drilled the holes where I wanted them. The only thing different was I specified a 20x8 overflow and it came with a 18x8 overflow. Oh yeah, and he painted the bottom but not the back. When I sent it back to be fixed I asked that he paint the back, not the bottom, so we'll see next Thursday.

Ok, so I should be able to change a few things. Thanks for the help. Your stand is looking good. It will be nice to see the tank on it.

Wow on the price. That's odd too. $800+ tax for a 300 gal without the holes. Maybe he was offering me a deal or something on one that someone didn't pay off. Would have bought it too but bought a 250 gal in Tucson with the works and I do mean the works for $2000. But, I'm always looking for another tank or bigger one.
