Yes Paul did have a few recommendations, but unfortunately it would mean having a 1.5" drain over the side of the tank. He also gave me the idea to use the two 1" holes, but they may come up a little short for some pumps. I'm sure I'll be using the Dart for the closed loop which I've seen on different sites having either a 1.5" or 2" inlet. If it's a 1.5" (1.77 S.I.) inlet the two 1" drains will yield 1.57 S.I. which I hope to be enough since there is no head pressure and a short drain line reducing any line friction. I know they say not to restrict the inlet.
Anyway I'm done staining the stand and doors and need to start tearing down the old tank.
