My New 300 some progress pictures

I need a Man Room!

I have all girls ... even the dog!

I am lucky the entire house isn't pink!

Your tank is awesome RBU1

This is a FAB tank, awesome. You did a super job on the entire job and I can't wait to see its progression. I am slowly progressing with my 265g. I wish you only the best!

Thanks Tang lover......I like your avatar. I just picked up an Achilles tang about 3-4 weeks ago. I had him in QT for 2 weeks and all was perfect. I put him in the 300 last week and today I noticed what might be ich......Not sure if it was sand or ich but I think it was ich. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks. A very kind RC member here helped me install the avatar by resizing it for me. Geeez, I hope your baby does not have ich. I plan on adding several tangs to my system (265g), but I am going extra slow with the overall fish additions. My system is roughly 6 months old and I only have a flame cardinal and a beautiful juvenile Unicorn Tang. She follows me around wherever I am, whenever I'm positioned at the tank. I nicknamed her Jena. I am only assumming the tang is a female, as she is very pretty.

What brand of sand did you use and where did you buy it? I'm in Maryland and praying I can find and buy the same stuff for the 360 I just ordered.

Nice tank, btw.

I got the CaribSea seaflor special grade. Got it from Fosters and Smith they are an RC sponsor.

I used CaribSea too as the top layer of my sand bed. The bulk of my sand bed is made of Southdown Sand I purchased several years ago from Home Depot. It ran about $3.00 per bag and many of us located in Charlotte got together and made a bulk order of it at our local Home Depot.
