My new 58!!!

My overflow is nowhere near max!!! I can take a picture of the teeth if you would like but I assume you could easily push a few hundred more gph through it.

Mike

do you think the limiting factor they advertise (600gph) is just the drain size? I want to throw a QO onto the tank too, but not sure if the drains can handle it. Teeth look ok though

Well if I plug the air-hole on my durso, it sucks the overflow dry so the drain can handle more for sure.

Thanks for the help mike! I'm starting to plan a customized oceanic 58g as well, (http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=913724) which is why I'm so curious.

Does your tank have a center brace?

How high is the water level? Can you take a pic for me if you have time?

How high is the water over the bottom of the overflow teeth?

Thanks!!!

I will post any picture you want...I will just have to wait until I get off of work tonight.

Sweet, I will have to read your thread after I post this. Nope, no center brace...that is why I wanted it...one halide. Now look, I am running two...lol

I will have to check on those heights.

Mike

great that'll be perfect! Can't wait to see the pictures!

Also, can you take pix of your sump as well? What dimensions is it?
