Beautiful Goodwin9. Pretty soon there'll be streamers coming off his tail. You definately have one of the Worlds best Tang collections!

I'm waiting for the streamers..will look nice, but I wonder how big it will get before it happens. It's already one of the largest fish in the tank. Speaking of which, last I remember, your collection of tangs out numbered mine by a few. Your welcome to post some updated pictures from your tank if you would like!

Hey Anthony WELCOME, you have better english than most here do so keep writing. As for if some words are misspelled. We can figure it out for the most part. As more questions and learn. If you do not sound so good yet, then you will with practice. So have at it.

Again, welcome.

If you need help with anything post away or start your own thread,

Grant

Thanks Grant

Hi Anthony! and welcome to RC. As Grant mentioned, your English is just fine.

Adding new tangs to my tank has been an issue in some cases. My yellow eyed kole & powder blue tangs seem to be the tangs that act most aggressively towards any new additions. With this last addition, the whitebar caused the most problem. There is a nice cave in the tank that the new additions can hide and I think the size of the tank has made it easier for new tangs too.

yes i agree, most be the size of the tank, at the moment i have a 150G with 79x19x23 (i think its that size, here we have the meters) but i have buy a 333G 79x33x29, this weekend i gone get it, i hope have more tangs.
i will see your post more times to see new tangs.

see you around

:D

Never say never, I guess... I had ordered a Yellowtail tang from LA on Monday for Wednesday delivery. Unfortunately, the shipment was delayed due to bad weather and not delivered until today. Temperature of the water in the bag was 60 degrees and while the fish was alive, it wasn't looking very good in the bag.

After warming up the bag and acclimating the fish, I placed it in the Ricordea tank. This was done for a few reasons; the water parameters are the best of all of the tanks, no other fish to disturb the fish, and last, it is the easiest tank to remove the fish if it survives, or doesn't make it.

A sad situation but I guess this is the chance you take ordering fish online and shipping them in the winter time......

Poor fish, I hope things turn out for the best.
I feel the same, but at least it has been upright in the tank for the past hour and seems to be moving around the tank a little. I've got my fingers crossed........
