My new 70 gallon tech build

Got a good deal on a use 70 tech tank.

Started a stand build with my brother.

what's GOOD about tech tanks?

they're built like a tank and it has starfire glass about it. It's one of the nicer tanks i've seen.

They're the last of the well-built Oceanic tanks. They all had (IIRC) starphire fronts and center overflows, as well as Euro-bracing. They were the first manufactured tanks to have these features. It was a huge disappointment when Oceanic ceased operations.

I used 1x3 pine boards. Using similar to rocket engineers design. Skin it with 1/4 inch ply and jig all the joints.

Still deciding on the inhabitants. Probably a small black tang until it gets big I can transfer to my 220

Any chance you and your brother willing to make a custom canopy for my 110 DSA? Basic canopy. The one that came with it is too short. I'm looking to get a new one that's taller

No I didn't buy that one I've had one the last 9 months. Same as the one listed but black stand and canopy. One thing I've always wanted was a taller canopy
