Yep, it's the Vortech pump, I was always skeptical because of the cost, but it's an awesome pump!!! It's controllable from 500gph to 3000gph!

how much are they? That would be a great solution, low profile in the tank, no heat, easily movable. I think I am impressed!

They run about $420-440 dollars each. That includes the wireless controller.

Wow, Chris...the stand came out really nice. I think I want mine similiar in design! Can you PM me more pics? I agree...the Vortech's are awesome. We set ours up as a lagoon wavemaker and can't turn them all the way up...even in a 215! Some closeups would be great!

Expanding on my last post. This is the tank I want to buy. I searched RC and your tank came up. Are you happy with your purchase?
Your Vortak pump, does it push a column of water or does it rotate it around

I'm extremely happy with my purchase. The pump distributes the water throughout the tank, it's not like a jet/stream of water.

I'll post some pictures of my sump tonight when I get home.

Hey Chris, tank looks great.

Do you know what revision of the firmware on that vortech? I have 4 of the first runs and apparently they're up to V 5. I was looking for someone with a newer one so I could upgrade mine off of them.
