My new black beauties

Just got these 2 today. They have been together over a year but I still cant tell which one is male or female they are nearly identical in size but get along great and nearly 3"s each. Also how do you tell the black ocellaris from the black perculas.

There is no such thing as black percula. That's how you tell

Hmm just thought I read the Onyxs eventually turn all black could definatly be wrong though.

Onyx percs almost always keep their orange face and orange fins. In some cases the dorsal fin will be black, but all other fins will remain orange.

gotcha still some nice clowns though especially since they cost me 30 for the pair.

Very nice fish. The picture looks as though the left one is larger, however its probably just the photo.
