Thought everybody would enjoy this. I love these fish so much. I have a pair and they came to the store paired up and have been together for 3 weeks in QT before I could even take them home.

I probably sound like an idiot for buying them and not knowing the proper name but i'm just posting here what i was told. I know now they are Wyoming clowns and i'm glad they are because i paid nothing for these. I just wanted to say i'm not a complete idiot, i just post here what i'm told they are, right or wrong.

Those are some great looking clowns! I have NEVER been a fan of the designer clowns, but I am def. starting to come around. I have a pair of onyx premium Picassos now that I think are absolutely awesome.

There cool as long as you enojy them. You can name them whatever you like. Now if someone tried to pull a fast one on you, then that is not cool.

I don't think that he did because these seem to be way more pricey then what I actually paid for them. I paid what he was charging for black ice clowns. So I feel I got a great deal because he charges less then he should in my opinion.

They could be black ice or Wyoming whites. I have a pair of black ices that are nearly all white just a little bit of orange and black in front of where the tail stripe would be. A Wyoming white is just an all white orange ocellaris clownfish. A black ice is a snowflake crossed with a black ocellaris. If the pair was an extreme snowflake crossed with a black ocellaris it is possible that it produced an all white black ice. Based on the picture the tail is almost all black which in my opinion says there is a black ocellaris in it's genetics. So to me I would tend to lead toward the pair being black ices. I have a wyoming white at home and it has much more orange in there fins compared to these fish.

Wyoming-White

This is a nice quick identification guide to designer clowns.

I think you got Wyoming White (the all white dorsal fin gives it away) and only paid for Black Ice (which are cheaper). Good job :)
