Just got them on Thursday. They look like they will color up well. I talked with mitch for about a hour. I wanted a traditional looking fish aka no miss bars or funkyness. Call me old fashioned.

Here they are. The bigger of the two took to eating right away the smaller one is starting to eat as well :). They have taken to hosting a zoa rock i have. They look like they will color up nice:spin1:

It will be nice to see watching them color up. Now i just have to find a new anemone to match with them. The tank is a 40br with 14k 250w mh about 12 inches from the waters surface with 2 39w t5's for supps. For current i run a mp20 on reefcrest at about 75% along with my mag 5 return from the sump.

Any idea's? I'm limited with tank size but would rather do something besides a bta.

well you have about 8.2 watts per gallon and really can do what every you want. For an anemone Really pushing doing any thing more than a Entacmaea Quadricolor a.k.a Bubble Tip Anemone.I would do any thing bigger than a 8 inch anemone in that size tank.So if you do plan on upgrading any time within the next 6 to 7 monthst then I would do some thing likde a Sebae and or Long Tentecal Anemone IF you were goin to be up gradeing!

I cannot believe you pulled the WPG card. ;)

I haven't seen that term used since I was last in the hobby 6 years ago...

He's got more than enough light for any species or ANY coral for that matter. You have to remember his tank isn't very deep.

I highly doubt ill be upgrading within the next 2 years. Thats my downfall. I dont want to put the tank in the basement. I went from a 125g to this.

If i did upgrade at most it would be to a 75g prob. I just cant afford the cost of keeping a big reef and its nice to be able to afford all the nice goodies for my small tank.

Yeah WPG is completely useless measurment. He will be fine with whatever anemone he chooses with his lighting setup, especially in a tank that is only 16" deep.
