Did you build the stand out of pressure treated wood? If so, you might want to rethink using it. Pressure treated wood has a tendency to warp when it dries out and eventually your stand and tank will come crashing down. The design looks great, might want to add a couple of center braces, but you should use a quality non pressure treated type of wood.

Also another idea might be to lower the plywood bottom. I used 1x2 strips around the inside bottom of the stand and screwed the plywood to it forming a pan . Then I used a sealant making it water tight and carpeted it. This prevents any water spills leaking to the floor, gives you more space for that larger skimmer upgrade and the carpet deadens the sound of humming pumps.

Wow, a stained glass tiffany style overflow... you're going all out, aren't ya!

J/k, can't wait to see it kickin!

had a minor set back the 4 holes in the overflow boxes are all 1" holes this is odd cause i thought it was supposed to be two 1" and two 3/4"

all that sexy wood comes off in sections basically. one day i came home from work and I saw my canopy half way on / off. the wood just gave out and it fell from the top of the tank. had to add some support for it.

Will be making an entire new stand these couple of days.
