I got them at a pet store called The Aviarium in duluth GA. It was only $60 in credit. It is open better now but i cant take any more pics i just the camera for the day.

I stopped by the Aviarium last year while on a business trip.

Someone was trying to sell a sick fish to a lady. =/

They have changed a lot since last year the owner let his daughter and son in law run the store now so its getting better all the time. They have about 5 of the same croceas in there now.

Thanks. I wish i could take a better pic of them the crocea was only in my tank for one hour before i took the pic so it looks way better now. Ill try and take a better pic next week i have to see if i can get a camera for a while.

I love mine it got me started now im getting Metal halides and i have to have one of each in my tank. I have a 4" crocea 3" squamosa and 7" gigas. I love them all. BTW my squamosa has blue spots inside of the brown pattern that get bigger every day he looks bluegreen now even with just the 10k lights on.

Do you have these in the "correct" placement according to research and others from RC? I am thinking about getting all of these clams and was wondering about placement. I have 24" deep tank with 250 watt MH. Thanks for the help. Not trying to hyjack.

My squamosa and gigas are on the sand and the crocea is on the rocks but im getting new lights again since i want so many clams i have 2 Giesemann Nova II 150 watt Metal Halide HQI Pendants on the way i think they should be fine for my 21 inch deep tank so i would think your tank and lights would be ok for clams. Any one else what do you think?

Update i have my 2 giesemann nova 150 watt HQI pendents and my 216 watt T5s on my tank now and i have a new camera. I also got a new clam ill post pics tonight.

Shinny did you ever get that clam? Once you have 1 you want them all.
