My new Green Gigantea

Gigantea are fish eater, quite good at it too.

My Flame angel disappeared the last few days. He is no longer in the tank, and no dry fish around the tank. I think one of the two Gigantea ate him.
I think Gigantea are quite good at eating fish. We just don't have the experience with Gigantea as we did with Haddoni so they don't have as bad of a reputation regarding eating fish as Haddoni.
So far this last 9 months I lost a Mandarin and a Flame angel to my three Gigantea.

I have a 1 eyed twin spot (or "candy") hogfish with my gig in a very small tank and he has been fine. Ive never had anyfish dissappear to the clutches of a gig.

Did it dissappear over night?

My Flame angel have been it that tank for at least 5 years. Very tame and outgoing. There is not a whole lot of rock in the tank. Wednessday was the day I notice that he was not out feedign when I feed the tank. I was very busy and not able to look closely and confirm that he is gone. Thursday I confirm for sure that he is not in the sump, overflow or dry up somewhere around the tank. Took me only a few minutes to confirm that he is not living in the display tank proper.
I did not know when he was kill, night or day. He does tend to try to get food from the anemone at times. Maybe he got too close, past the point of no return on one of these trip
