My new Lennardi Wrasse!!!

Ever since I first saw photos of the elusive Lennardi Wrasse I knew I had to have it. In my eyes, it truly is the holy grail of the wrasse family. These guys are obviously hard to come by but leave it to Eric and Jorge at Windy City Reefs to obtain one of the rarest fish available!

For those of you who have not met them, rest assured that when you buy from WCR you are buying from hobbyists that are in tune to their customer's needs and always make customer satisfaction a top priority. I also got to visit one half of the livestock on or soon to be on the site when I picked this guy up and wow! It's amazing to see so many bright and vibrant colored corals in one tank. Considering I work in the industry, it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to livestock and rest assured; I was impressed. Their corals are truly drool worthy.

Anyway, the Lennardi is active and eating in QT and will be introduced in a few weeks. The colors on this fish are just unreal, even under the crappy lights over my QT. I can't wait to see it under the LED's!

Reef Junkie, one for now but they said they are expecting more around december. Might want to contact them and see if they can reserve one for ya.

Thanks for the kind words and I will be sure to keep you posted on how she does!

Wow nice fish! I have two Hoevens that are quite colorful, but that is vivid! I'm keeping my eyes open for this species for sure.

they aren't that hard to come by. A few wholesalers in LAX have them. Route 66 was the first to bring them in. They are only in Western Australia, so freight is SOOOO expensive !!

i love tamarins ! they are just finicky eaters and shippers.
