My new Mandarin fighting its reflection.

My new Mandarin is constantly trying to fight with its reflection when it isn't eating. This pic isn't very good, but it was a rush job. I might try and get some really good ones if he keeps doing it.

Yep, that's a mandy for you. Sweetest disposition in all fishdom, until it runs into another mandarin. Be very, very careful when attempting to add a mate: if the food supply isn't enough [in the mandy's very greedy opinion] the first there will likely kill the other.

That's one of my favorite fish. It's tough to keep one with a Spotted mandrin I've found out.

Yeah I think this weekend I heard a story of a mandarin killing the new mandarin added to a tank. Amazing, looking at them and those little mouths I would have never guessed. That is one cool looking fish though!

they are really sweet... I use to have on in my 72bow. Of course that was after it had tons of Pods to eat. Nice looking Fish Todd.

gorgeous specimen!!! My spotted kinda looms around the back where nobody can see (naturally cause it's my luck). Havent seen him fight his reflection but good ole spot dose push his chubby self into the clowns territory and does a great job of ignoring them when they try to shovel him out.
