My new maroons!

Found these guys at my local LFS. Both of them were transhipped from Bali. I went ahead and paired them myself. They paired almost immediately with hardly any bickering. It's been a while since I've kept maroons and I must say they are really enjoyable to watch.

Very pretty maroons and happily hosted by a nice BTA. I personally prefer to see natural pairings, like you have there--and there's no headaches of getting the clowns to take to the anemone. Did you find that your maroons went to the BTA very quickly? I once read someone on here say they had maroons in a tank with a BTA and the clown wouldn't go to it. I can't imagine. Perhaps they thought they had a BTA and it was some other species of anemone. I've had a white striped pair and I currently have a GS pair, and in both cases (tank-bred) they were in my BTAs immediately. Just curious, what your experience has been.

Yeah I got the clowns first and picked up the anemone a couple days ago. The female was in the anemone before I got it to the rockwork.
