I was at a local lfs yesterday and was suprised to see a P.multifasciata in one of their reef tanks. It turns out that someone had recently traded in an entire collection of fish the multufasciata being one of them. It was alert fat and eating well at the store. I took him home aclimated it to my QT and he was eating an hour later. Needless to say I am pretty excited. This is the best I could do for a pic with it in the bag.

Its been a week and he has not eaten since the first day. I'm hoping its just the prazi. I will probably pickup some live brine or maybe some blackworms this weekend to see if that will get him going. Otherwise it looks great fins are clear seems alert and is very active. Should I keep it in QT until he eats again or is this a reason to get it to the DT quicker?

Dont put it in the display until you have finished treating!

Just feed a huge variety of food until you find one thing she likes and just feed that! Live blackworms, ect. How many days into prazi are you? Many people recommend not to start treatment until the fish is eating well...

I guess I jumped the gun on the preventative prazi treatment. It was eating so well on day one I thought it would continue. Its day 7 of the treatment.

Then tomorrow your done! Thats great. Just throw in some carbon and do a 25% WC. Dont take all the meds out to quickly. I've lost some fish to that before. Then small amounts of many foods or whatever she was eating before prazi as many times a day as possible! The mroe the better. FAtten that thing up for 5 weeks of cupramine!

I wasn't going to treat with cupramine unless it show any signs. It really likes formula 2 and will only taste other foods.

It's doing well. It's the fish most noticed by visitors. It likes flake and mysis and doesn't bother my corals. I am terrible at taking pics so its not easy for me to post one.
