Yes... it never seems to stop LOL!! :debi: so I started a new projet. I re-did my manifold, upgraded my pump to a Reeflo Dart, and went to work on my frag tank. Once again...:hmm2: hahahhaa I broke the glass on this tank aswell. So I stripped it down and had to build it back up.

Thanks Jarrett... just I have no luck keeping a tank without 1st braking the glass!! LOL!

Your too funny Doc!! LOL... Well the 120 was picked up today!! Woooo hooo, so I was able to finish moving some things around and placed the frag qt tank next to the Main Display. What I plan on doing is when it comes down to my weekly 20 gallon w/c's on the main display & frag tank. I will remove 20 gallons from the frag tank 1st and just cycle the the water from the main into the frag. Thus keeping all params in sync with the main display and qting any new colonies I get for my display.

Placement of the Frag/QT Tank.

I used a(n) Iwaki WMD 40RLXT Pump and created a manifold for it. I didn't want to use any other pumps to create more heat. So I Tee-ed everything off. I used one for the skimmer which is a(n)MTC HSA-250 Rated for 250Gallons. One to feed a future Ca++ Reactor if need be, one for a UV Sterilizer and then Tee-ed out to the Frag/QT tank.
The sump was a small 20gal long in which I had drilled and used a bunch of live rubble rock that was in my sump for months to prevent having to cycle the tank. Then I added my main dt tank water and was done. Thanks for looking...:wavehand:

Hey Mark.. I was contemplating on doing the eurobrace for the sides, but I'm going to leave it the way it is. The tank is only 48X24X12 and is only filled to about 8 inches high. So I am not concerned with that much pressure on the tank. The front and rear however do have glass braces as you have seen and that is used to prevent the bowing of the front and rear glass had it been filled further.

Looking good, I'm confused though.. Isn't going to be a coral frag tank or coral QT... To have it as both would seem risky.

It will start out as a Coral QT tank because the mini colony pieces that I ordered I want to make sure they are pest free before placing into my DT. I had enough headaches before with Redbugs and AEFEW to know better. So the only way of being safe is to QT 1st and observe.
After that it will become my frag tank because corals do grow and accidently brake. So I'll keep them and let them encrust and if I have extra's I'll either give some to the club or sell some to recoupe some expense's and it will be pest free.

This is after all an expensive hobby...

@ Jarrett Shark.. yeah tell me about it. Some people have already told me I should look into doing tanks. With my clumbsiness, I'll end up braking a few 1st. LOL! I'll pass and leave that to the real pro's.

@ BklynArch.. Thanks Bro! Couldn't of done it without you.

@ MikeNY... Thanks bud!!

@ Matty-O... I like the Blk because you will not notice alot of the algae build-up as with the white and will not need to replace it as often. Enjoy your trip bro, take plenty of pics!!

Well it's completed  (wiping forehead). Just need the blk eggcrate.

I may have to figure something out for the hanging wires... then again I should leave well enough alone. :frog:
