My new purchase...

My money for reefing has come to a stand still for my new hobby....HARLEYS!

I will be taking delivery of a 1999 Harley Davidson Sporster 1200 Sport. This will be my fist bike, and I cannot wait to ride it next week. I've been slowly turning my fantasy into a reality since this past September...and now I'm only 8 days away!

I've been saving my pennies and have gotten all the protective gear...helmet, glass/goggles , gloves, jacket, heavy jeans, boots....now all i need is the bike!

How many fellow riders out there? Have you guys been out on your bikes yet...i know this past weekend was a great weekend for riding. I plan on being out riding all day on Friday the 14th...my b-day...talk about a kick *** b-day gift!

Hey Mark, Riding is geat!!!!! Had my 1984 super glide out for a little ride a couple weeks ago. Have fun but watch out for the morron's!!!! Some people don't pay enough attention and never even see you. That is the reason I put a set of samson big gun rip saws on my bike. They are some loud pipes! Good luck with your new ride!!!!!

I've got the screamin eagle pipes on my bike, so it's definitely nice and loud....she packs quite a punch too....too bad half of jersey drivers are morons.

I'm looking forward to early morning weekend rides with my two uncles!

my dad rides. he hasen't riden yet this year cause he is re doing his 77 kawi 1000. if any one is intrested he has another one for sale, good shape n runs. it's a 76 or 78 i think.

i bought a 98 cbr 900 RR in december already rode 700 miles...
ran the bike down atco 10.8 in the quater mile first pass.

I had a 2002 honda f4i, but that was stolen :-( I'll get a replacement soon.. but for now I ride my dad's 2006 1200 Sportster.. good luck with it, you'll love it, its a good ride!

Two things you need to know.

Take the MSF class if you haven't ridden in awhile.

Already signed up for the MSF course through FDU. I'll be riding w/my uncles in parking lots from next week til the 25. Take my course the 26-28 of April, and then i'll have my license and it's time for the open road!

I took the MSF class also, very informative... didn't help me much though when some lady at a stop sign decided to pull out in front of me to make a left turn at the last minute. I t-boned her station wagon, and I took a flight over her hood!

be real, real careful out there! nj roads are real crowded and people aint paying attention. wear leather and at least jeans and boots. Thank god I was, or I would have been pealed like an onion.
