My new RBTA

I got these 2 guys from a local reefer. They were on the rock together. The rock came with it.

After 2 hours of drip acclimation. Here they are after 15 mins in the tank

And a couple of hours later

A view of the little guy. The side of the tank is a little dirty

If my mini Maxi would come out and join the party, I would be a happy camper.

I don't cover my powerheads and I have gbta and rbta in my tank. There will always be a risk. But i find with the bta they don't move around too much and when they do they don't release Also there really is no need to drip corals.

+1

I also have never seen one of my rbtas go on sand. Maybe others have. So I keep my live rock off the walls of the tank and they never go on the walls anymore.

They do move fairly slow though, you might just be able to catch them in time if they do wonder around.

Also, once they find a spot they like they'll stay there for the most part.

Also if your anemone is splitting a lot That might not be s good thing. They normally spilt when they are unhappy it's a survival thing. Also most will spilt when first introduced into a new tank but not all

It's still new. Took my clowns awhile until they found it. Probably because the bta is small. My 16 inch magnetic they found in 10 mins. My 2 inch bta took them 2 weekx

Wow...16". Once my BTA settled and happy, I will try to get a mag or a haddoni. I'm looking at a 3-4 months time frame.

I got my rbtas after I already have clownfish. Took them about 6 months before they finally went in, lol.
