My New Rock Work

I just thought I'd post a pic or two of my new rock work courtesy of our fearless leader, paulw. I was in a rock stacking rut, and my rack did not work out as well as I wanted. Paul came over and helped me stack the rock and drill some pieces to make the column. He also helped me direct the flow so my aquarium has much better circulation. Now I need to work on the lighting and filling it with more corals. I was extremely pleased with the outcome and Paul is a great source if you need help remodeling your tank.

Hi Sarah, that came out pretty nice....do you have a pic with the MH on. The flash compresses the image so the 3D effect is lost.

Im actually surprised it came out so well the amount of dust we kicked up doing that.

ha ha. i guess i need to work on my lighting next. both of those pics are with the metal halide on.

It took a couple days for the dust to settle, and I ended up having to refill the carbon and filter floss in my canister filter before the water really starting looking sparkly clear.

just dont use the flash, it bleaches the corals out too much
