Thanks for following my last thread and wishing me luck with my Smithii making it through his acclimation. I found out where he was hiding and he is definately alive and well. Hes not very active atm which is expected but he keep catching him poking his head out periodically. I believe he has even had a nice emerald crab meal as well as he is nowhere to be found.

The N. Wennerae's transfer to my 6g tank went well and I have caught him rearranging some stuff around but was unable to get a picture as he dont stand around to pose when I come near his tank hehe. Heres a couple pics and Ill add a FTS as soon as my battery is charged and some other pictures as the mantis's become more active and I can get some good shots.

Id also like to thank everyone who has helped me by answering my questions and offering advice along the way. Having 2 mantis's wouldnt have been possible without your help.

My new G smithii. Id say he is close to 3" or so. Cant see them in these pics but he definately has purple meral spots and the trademark red lines across his back.

This is just a bonus shot. My new goby/pistol that I acclimated yesterday paired up over night I assume.

And heres a full tank shot of the goby pistol and clown tank. My Smithii tank is the same exact tank but the dx version and my Smithii's tank also has 4 ricordea in it along with the CUC.

Got mine today from bluezoo, and happy to say it is also a Smithii. He acclimated fine and has been hiding in some rock ever since.

Thanks Pea I didnt have my hopes up either cause it didnt look good at all. My water params were good so im not sure what the deal was. I assume he is going to be ok since he is hiding under the rock and was moving around a little bit compared to being on his back in the corner. I am still kind of stumped by what caused it cause I acclimated him longer than everything else I got that day (over 2 hrs and used drip line) and i read 0 across the board for toxins.
