My New Tank is here!!!

Thanks... I have another one that I always thought was the Tri-Color Valida which also grows very fast. Now I'm confused which is which.

ORA's actual site kind of sucks for ID's, but maybe it's the Tri-Color Nana?

Hey TJ- Great great pics man. Everything looks super amazing. Actinics now? Oh and I think that Tri color that you have on the post before this last one is a Crayola Nana. Kinda hard to tell though. One thing about the Nanas though is as they settle in they get some super PE which usually hides their beautiful colors.

Well I'm headed to Texas for 7 days, so this will be my first extended leave from the tank since it has been set up. I think I have everything set in place, and the tank should run itself for a week without any touches... besides feedings.

My recent addition is this skimmer waste collection container that I asked Keith to make for me. I also rigged up a float switch that is housed inside the container, which will shut off the protein skimmer if it would happen to go nuts for any reason and fill the container.

The bottom is thicker because I needed it to be weighted down since it will be sitting inside of my ATO reservoir. It turned out real slick, and definitely relieves a little stress now that I won't have to make my little sister empty the "stinky" fish poo cup every few days.

Thanks... yeah I'm still having some issues here and there with a few of the SPS, but overall the tank has been doing much better lately. No, Keith and I haven't started on that yet, although I'm hoping to find some time to look into it more soon. I am starting to get very frustrated with my current Korallin Ca reactor.

It's just a major PITA trying to get the effluent rate stable. I overhauled everything today... tore it down, put it back together the recommended way, and scrapped the needle valve (I'm now just using a pinch valve on the effluent line). I think I finally fixed it, but will have to wait a week or two before I can declare victory.

Thanks.
