Probably won't have much until this weekend. I just need to figure out the final plumbing and finish the bottom of the stand. I keep changing the plumbing to get rid of any un-needed turns, and think I have it down to a minimum now. I'm even mounting the pumps at a 45Ã"šÃ‚° angle in the stand to lose a turn. I'll try to take some pictures of that tomorrow.

Hey Ken can you show us a pic of that Island section your gonna have. Im thinking the same on my tank two islands seperated with tons of swimming room in the middle.
1 island for my softies, SPS etc
2 island for my anemones
I dont know if u said this already or not but what pump are u using on the closed loop?

Sam, one or two pages back I had some pictures of a pillar that I was playing with, as far as the island goes, I'll have pictures after I put the rock in the tank and build it 
The pumps that I am going to use are two Amp Master 3000 pumps, one for the CL, and one for the return. I also have a 3600 that I may use for the CL if I think I need more flow. I'm trying to keep my power requirements under or at what my old 100 gallon tank was with all the pumps, SEIO's, powerheads that I was using.

ENT You mean EMT? No, it's grey flex PVC.
OK, plumbing is an art, you can have it look good with perfect lines, angles, and lot's of turns, or you can have it go from point "A" to point "B" as efficiently as possible. I chose efficiency.
Finished plumbing:
It all fit pretty tight to the back of the tank, the farthest anything sticks out is 5 1/2" (Notice how clear the glass is):
Only have to finish the drain line and it's DONE! Had to make a "hook" for the sump pump, I went to drill it last minute and couldn't find my hole saw or my dremmel bit. I can change this later. I wanted to take one more picture of the stand as it's slowly being covered:

Well, filled the tank up to leak test................ only one
. A fitting I forgot to tighten on a pump. All glue joints were solid! Drained the tank and cleaned it. It's now filling with RO/DI water. This should take two days to fill, then I can finally aquascape and move the fish and coral I have been storing for 3 months into there new home. To give you an idea on how tall the stand is, here is a picture of my daughter on a step stool looking in during the first fill.
