My new tank pics (no water yet)

I'm finally getting my new 75 gallon long set up and wanted to share some pics. The dimensions are 60x18x16 tall.

I built the stand myself and the canopy I got from Nashorn (THANKS!). Had to sand it down and repaint it.

I have a 29 gallon sump with Octopus NW 150 skimmer and a retro Hamilton kit with 2 175watts and 2 140watt VHO actinics.

Going to venture in to my plumbing tonight. Wish me luck. Any tips on transferring tanks? I'd hate to lose live stock during the move.

Should I use my old sand? Just a bit?

nice man...

for the sand most people use new or dead sand and just use a couple of cups of their old live sand to replenish the new.

Thanks. Had some trouble getting some plumbing parts in so gonna take longer than I hoped. Oh well. Patience is hard in this hobby.......
