These are some pics of my upgraded tank, 100 gallon...any suggestions on anyyyything, i am very open to suggestions, i know there isnt much in there yet but i am working on that

Looks nice. Are you planning on coloring the back of the tank to hide the pipes and everything? I just thought it would look so much better that way. You can also just get the static tint sheets from an auto supply store. These things are easier to apply and you dont need to deal with paint.
 
Sorry I missed you, maybe you can come over sometime this week after work and I can help you splash some color in there :) I just got finished mounting two of these for you

Consider getting rid of the bio balls. Can we get a closer picture of your sump? How much flow do you have in the tank?
 
Dump the bio balls, thats what i thought doing all the reading i have on here. So should i not put anything there? what do you guys all have in your sump, i am new to the whole"sump" thing, i had a DSB.
And thanks for the idea about the window cling, we were going to get it painted black but kinda got a little too excited about the tank too fast i know i know bad i dea, but i will go get some to put on the back for sure!
I will get a closer pic of what i have in my sump and post it ASAP.
And to Justin: that would be great i am going to go visit Mihn too, i need all the "color" i can get, and believe me i wont let you guys fall short if you guys wanted me to give you money or somethin i could....
 
I was thinking of building it higher, i wanted to have access to the back of the tank and the sides, you guys think that would look okay?
 
Oh and about the flow in the tank, hmmm, well i have the skimmer going and then the 2 pumps and one powerhead, i dont really know how to figure it out....( i feel dorky haha) But hey thats why i am here right....? My xenia are movin they are still a little shocky but they always come back, Oh and my anenome got so big, didnt mind the change at all...well not at all, he threw out his insides but in about 20-30 min he expanded so big, You guys have any idea on what he is????
 
I saved that tang from the LFS he was beat up and brought in from a lady a while ago, he doesnt look that pretty but i know he'll have a good life lookin ugly in my tank haha

I'm 'new' so check this with the veterans... But I'd say load your sump w/LR rubble, a 5-10k twisty fluorescent light (cheap from Home Depot) and a fat honkin' wad o' chaeto algae.

I am in Woodland and I have an Orange 'shroom you could 'rescue' and/or a tiny scrap of chaeto. I might also know someone in 95695 that might have xenia to adopt...

I have a bunch of Zenia that I was thinking of cutting back.
I've cut and attached one stalk to a small rock.....my first try, and it worked out great. If your interested.......you can come by and check it out. I'm in Woodland too.
