Teebs
What is your survival rate with Yumas? Some of the ones you pictured if they looked like that here would be dead in short order due to shipping stress.....With you being closer to collection points has your survival rate increased? Wondering if this is the case as yumas here in US dismal survival rate I would say with discussing with other collectors close to 90% death.
If your willing to discuss Yumas off forum please e-mail me with the e-mail option here at RC since I cannot get PMs. Any info you can provide would be great as I have other questions for you....
Thanks bro for the info......I am starting to think it is a water/chemical issue.....
after years of them melting on me I now photo acclimate them from the beginning....It is a months process.....What is the temps you keep them at? typical reef temps? Not sure about color, feeding I know can play a role but that is long term and most melt within first month and show signs before that.....Thanks for the discussion on them.....Hope you don't mind the slight hi-jack of your thread.....
