My new Zoa/Acro nano!

I am a recent zoa fan ... again! I got into the zoa craze YEARS ago and got burned out. Now that the zoa collectors have separated the nice ones from the standard ones, I'm having some fun collecting nicer zoas/palys! I'm setting up a nano to be a Zoa/Acro bonsai garden style tank.

Love the 36" stand

Can someone PLEASE identify this one? I don't know if its anything special but I love the coloration. Since I cranked up the Halides they've gotten even brighter!

Some other strains, I'm terrible at names but I believe that last one is "Red Wine"?

What size tank is that??? You have a nice start to your Zoanthid collecting... :D

Oh, and 36" stands are fabulous!!! :)

Nice looking setup! What size is the tank? As for the I.D.'s...
1 - raptors rainbows
2 - pink zippers
3 - candy apple reds
4 - red wines

Thanks guys - and thanks for the ID's! The tank is a standard 20 w/overflow but there are some holes drilled in the back for a CL. I plugged the overflow drain and am using the overflow as a surface cleaner, semi-CL, and a mechanical filter area. I'll put some carbon/ROWAphos in there.

I'm definitely pretty happy with my zoa collection - trying to get them all!

The algae is annoying. It doesn't grow on my rocks, only on frag plugs. Snails eat it, but since they're on the eggcrate the snails don't get to it. It's probably slowing zoo growth but thats fine - I figure when I get them mounted to rocks - snails will keep it mowed down. Probably silicates in the plugs.

Hey bud, if you're into things other than green & orange montis - I'd love to arrange a trade with you because I'm still drooling at the other thread.

Oh I have no idea. I can only tell you that it only grows on cement plugs. My golden astraeas and tangs keep it in check, my zoas have grown right over the top. SPS also encrusts over it, no problem.
