Thanks.

Wish I had a decent camera as this pic is not representative. The polyps really are metallic blue, they look matt in the photo.

I love those.
I wonder if anyone tell me how hardy the Blue zoas are. I like the look, but i have not found any that were not very pricey. I want to know if they will behave like my other Zoas before i shell out the money for them. If they are rare because they don't survive well, i know not to risk them.

I have heard the same thing, although these are doing very well at the moment, all open every day. These are big zoas, much larger than my tubbs blues. I remember reading about some blue zoas that were very prone to pox/melting. I will be keeping a close eye on these to make sure nothing happens. I have some Furanon hand. I also managed to pick up a whole colony of 'Joker Palys' for HKD 180 dollars with about 50+ polyps on it. That is doing very well also.

Those are super close to blue hornets I think!! Very nice. I would love to get some. But, for that, I would be paying a high PP price which I do not support.

Thats the nice thing about buying in this part of the world, the name game doesn't exist. Prices are based solely on size of colony and colour of polyp and sometimes reflect the cost of importing from certain areas (Fiji corals are always expensive).

The blues cost me about US$30 for the whole colony. There are about 50+ polyps of the metallic blues and 60+ of blue/purple ones at the back.

Very nice mixed rock. A mixed rock of zoas is what I've been looking at lately but, I'm in no hurry so I'm waiting for one I like.
