My Picasso Clowns

[Tahoe Reefer]

Today I purchased two Grade A Picasso clown fish. I'm very excited! Take a look for yourself.

I paid a pretty penny for these two fish, I hope they are happy in my kitchen tank.

I bought set #1 and within two hours all three sets were gone. You and I were both lucky to catch these fish.

The clowns are going into a counter top 10 gallon tank. There is a little sand bed, some small rock rubble with caulerpa and, small clay pot pieces. I took a 6" clay pot and cut the bottom out to make a "cave" like place for them to hide... and lay eggs on in the future. The tank has been running for a little over a month with sand and rock from my main reef. As of Saturday all tests show the tank is ready for clowns.

Best of luck with those awesome fish. Please forgive me but can't you make a cave out of rocks. That pot will kind of spoil the illusion, no?

I can make a cave from rocks but I want to pull the eggs out when they are old enough, so might as well get them used to the clay pots right off the bat.

I am going to put my pair in my frag tank (20 gallon long) that is plumbed with my display (almost 1yr old) and sump/fuge/skimmer. They will be all alone, should be fine. i didnt realize they were all going to sell so fast, guess she had a bunch of peeps on her list. I answered the following day and was afraid they were all going to be taken. congrats to us and the others!!!
