Re: My Picasso pair

Is it normal that they stay in one corner for the whole day? Today is their first day in the tank.

I had a wild percula that I returned back to LFS because it attacked the new Picasso. I think it got really stressed out from it.

Yes. It's very common for clowns to hang out in one spot all day. When it gets more comfortable, it will start venturing out more. It will always have its favorite spot to hang out though.

elegance coral is right that is how my new Black and Whites are acting,Mine stay in one corner then swim around for a couple hours then go back to a corner.Or they may Swim around for the whole day until when we go to bed then the male sleeps on the sand bed while the female floats. My clowns are kinda comfortable so they'll swim around a lot then may go back to their spot.

Most clowns I've had will wander more when they don't have a host nem, but when they do, they pretty much nest in it and don't stray too far from it.
Looks like you have a BTA in there, I'm sure they will find it.
Good idea ridding other clown, I'd keep to one pair.

Re: My Picasso pair

Update: now each of my Picasso spending their time in different corners. I happen to see the bigger one chased off the smaller one. Is this mean they're not accepting each other as companion?
Is this a problem? What should I do?!

I would look at clowns better, but that thumbnail takes forever loading for me!
I think photobucket or similar might help get you more views and response.
Anyway, expect female to display dominance, typical.
Soon I would hope you'll see smaller male do a twitchy submissive dance.
I wouldn't freak on anything, still new, just watch for excessive fighting/fin tearing.

Re: My Picasso pair

I know that Im a bit impatience, but they ignoring my BTA. Seem to like the sand bottom better than the nem. The male keeps twitching on the sand and created a pit.

Thanks, I'll observe more.

P.S. I don't have photobucket and I'm using my iPhone to post picture, faster than dealing with uploading/dloading to my mac.
