My picasso/snowcasso's first spawn!

nice pair. i have a pair like your also. mine are close to spawning also. i didnt know as much about clowns as i do now, or i would have made my snowcasso a male.

Couple new pics from tonight, starting to seem like they prefer when actinics are on in the evening.

very nice clowns....how long have you had them? Have you raised any fry and if so what is the % of all white ones? Hope mine look that nice when they get older :)

Thanks, I've had these guys about a year and a half now.
I think I'll have time today to start setting up a breeder tank, that's the plan.
I wish they started spawning back when biz was really slow, now I gotta squeeze it in between jobs.
But soon, I really want to grab this spawn, they made it pretty easy to pull w/ the rock they laid them on.

leave the rock alone and let the male do all the work.
the night they are ready to hatch then remove the rock into a small breeder tank and use a small amount of air and watch them hatch :)

Very good documentation of a new spawning pair. My picassos did the same thing, laid at night with actinics, had very week first 2-4 clutches that detached from the rock. Not to mention how much I love that male snowcasso
