No nipping as far as I can tell. The multiband did have a nick in its tail one time but I figured a porcelain crab was responsible. The Toby is very mellow and minds its own business. I feed quite a lot so that may help. I love the fish.

I'm now realizing you probably mean nipping corals. I've got a number of possible suspects for any nipping so can't really say. I don't see much damage. Maybe some Xenia gets eaten but could be just unhappy in a given flow spot. Cheers.

Nope...I actually meant fin-nipping, so your first answer was what I was looking for. I've seen fishes that tobies have "ruined", so I was wondering how yours was doing. What order was it added to the tank (if you recall)?

It was added late though before the multi and the Mandy.

Indeed. I've had a Rainsford and now the Hector's. Both perfect fish for a reef tank.

my rainsford really scattered sand all over my tank. was not good.

I find the genus to be pretty minimal in the sifting department.
