My primo acro ID thread

I got all of these at a frag swap under names but I'd like to get a 100% ID on them.

Red- 4th of July (I'm sure this was made up by the person)
Blue- blue matrix
Green polyp- I assume purple plasma

No idea about the "4th of July" name, appears to be a tabling species like A. hyancinthus or similar. Similar acro trade names would be red planet, Tierra del fuego, or PC Superman. There's a lot of similar tabling species in the trade, all are uniquely beautiful.

The blue matrix (A. hoeksemai) seems to be a positive ID, and that also does appear to be ORA Purple Plasma (A. horida) or at least very similar to it.

All very nice frags IMO.

Thank you. After moving I lost all of my sps, large colonies too all gone monti got upset and nuked everything, my fault but you live and learn. So this is my restarting lineup

I've also got a blue/green Cali tort thats looks great.

My real goal is to get my hands on purple monster and grow it out to share among my local reef club

The blue looks like a tenuis

Thinner hoeksemai frags often do appear as tenuis. As they develop the patterns become increasingly different from tenuis. Much thicker and staghorn like branching compared to tenuis.
