Oh... I'm jealous! I'm looking forward to watching this color up!
Nice choice on having the Cipro ready... love seeing the success stories after treatment!
Congratzthe short tentalces with the lights coming on means he's still settling in, it could take a couple days before the the tentacles elongate.. (you want them to be longer not stubby, that shows signs of a stress free, healthy gig) but this one looks promising imo
but who am i to say whats promising and not promising

very nice nem Tom, good score!!
I will do it to my other anemone with the mouth problem once he does not get well, I should get some cipro this fri, Godspeed to all anemones for recovery. Keep me posted
Agreed, let me know if you need any help with anything... Good luck, keep us posted on your thread. I'm going to be on the look-out for a Green and or Red Gig to add to this tank down the road... I might just make this a species tank and have several gigs...
red gig is almost un heard of (although, i may have located one.. which would be the first all red s. gig known to be in captivity.. i beleive) but thats g14 classified i am awaiting comfirmation of the verracue ) ... all you can really find is ones like Gary's in the anemone forums.. that is tri colored..
haha, become an addict like me, with an S. Gig Farm![]()
4 Purple, 1 Blue, 1 Green...i pretty much turned my 65g into a S. Gig tank, there are some SPS in there, but i know that there is a high risk of my gig shifting one direction and possibly wiping out my corals, so its no big deal to me, my S. Gig's come first for me
