my RBTA ATE my frogspawn!

Ever heard of such a thing? My frogspawn is gone, and my RBTA is under a rock engulfed around the frogspawn! He is eating it! :mad2: :mad2: :mad2: Makes me quite upset. Will the frogspawn kill the RBTA? Ever heard of such a thing?

My RBTA is afraid of the frogspawn. They've gotten into slight battles; with the RBTA retreating and taking away a small portion or two of the frogspawn still attached to it. Both are doing fine.

I don't have a pic, because the RBTA is under a flat rock way in the back. The RBTA DEFINATELY won this. And yes, he completely ate the frogspawn--all of it. The RBTA didn't come out again today--makes me wonder if it's ok and gonna make it or not. This blows.....

lol don't mean to laugh but did it tear off the frogspawn tentacles or eat the whole frogspawn skeleton as well?

i dont think it would be under a rock if it ate the skepeton. It would be dead. It would cut right though it.

No, it just ripped the frogspawn out of the skeleton--the skeleton is still there

I heard a fellow reefer the other day say he used to feed his RBTA xenia. Since it grows like weeds and he would scrap off glass and right into anemone. I thought that was crazy! Have anyone heard that?

Wow thats crazy. I would have thought that the frogspawn would have killed it since it swallowed it. My anemone like passes out when it comes into contact with mine.

Is youre anemone ok?

How'd it get to rip it off the skeleton?

No the anemone is not the same since this happened--it seems the frogspawn got him good, but the anemone won the fight. I am not sure how it ripped the frogspawn out of the skeleton because I was at work when it happened. The anemone is still alive, but I can see where it was stung excessively, and still doesn't come out and inflate like it did. It still it rather balled up. I hope it recovers from this.
