My recovery attempt

See pics. I've had it in low flow and slightly shaded for a few months. Advice is needed on if it's ready to be moved to some more flow and light.

Looks like it seems to be good enough to move, I recommend you do it slowly so not to shock it or stress it.
 
Very nice! Those are pretty hard to get to recover since they tend to get algae buildup on their skeletons...so good job!

Given the color and expansion of tissue, it looks rather healthy where it is. If you do want to move it for personal preference, do it slow as stated above. It looks healthy enough to sustain a move.

Thank you very much - wife thought I was crazy for trying to save - but I like it where it is just thought in order to thrive would need more flow and light.
 
If it starts turning brown, it may need more light. If it starts puffing out really huge, it may need more light or more flow (both will keep the size down to some extent.)
