Just because we have a circus does not mean that the whole school is a clown college. It's a club. You guys have the agricultural school and on-campus slaughterhouse.. I don't call you farmers....
I agree about the Summer option. I'll bounce it off a few more people and see what they think.
As far as a major project, that sounds like a great idea. So far, the biggest project that I successfully completed was the Industrial Engineering project that I did during that internship, however since it's unrelated to my major, I suppose it's not valid.
My current project that is just in the beginning works is starting a Financial Investment club here at FSU, where we basically charge members a semester fee to join the club, then take that money and purchase investments in the club's name, basically eventually building up a large mutual fund of our own. If it gets big enough, we can eventually move it out into public domain and get outside investments. It'll be an interesting project, and we've got some really smart people working on it. Quite a project it shall be. But again, right now it's only in the "idea" phase, and over the summer it should formulate into a club. I don't know how important this would be for my current resume at this point, and since I probably will not be working at an investment firm in Boca, even though that would be quite cool.
