My Rhomboid Pair

A friend of mine was closing out his tank and had a Rhomboid pair that he made an awesome deal on 6 months ago. I have them in QT until my 170 cube is finished. Finally I have one of my favorite fish.... Errrrrr 2

The swim bladder issue has been the thing that has always kept me from pulling the trigger on Rhomboids. So on top of a could not pass it up price, the big risk was removed.

nice coloring on the fishes, however I think the female is transitioning into a sub-male. I have a pair and the female is a blue head with white body in color, yours turned golden already so you might just have 2 males. Still cool as long as they don't fight.

The coloring has been changing a bit on both of them. I have chalked it up to getting themselves acclimated to the new QT. Time will tell I suppose

I suspect my smaller Rhomboid has turned male. I may have to split them up until my bigger tank is ready. Today the smaller one started chasing the larger one around non-stop
